511 Gallery Lake Placid presents "Works on Paper", an exhibition that runs from Friday, October 24th (opening reception from 6 to 8p.m.) through December 5th.
511 Gallery Lake Placid at 2461 Main Street is pleased to present its new exhibition, Works on Paper, a collection of works on paper that are elaborate, appealing and diverse. Each artist's work is distinguished because of techniques, styles, and imagery. This diversity reveals the wide-range of possibilities open to artists who work on paper, whether in the medium of drawing, printmaking, or photography.
This group exhibition includes art by drawing artists Edward Hopper, Viviane Silvera, Bryan LeBoeuf, Allen Blagden, Leslie Lerner, Jennifer Odem, Alex Schuchard, Lesley Punton, Theodore Waddell, and Maro Michalakakos, printmakers Larry Dinkin, Kenneth Hale, Mark Cooper, and Robert Dodd, collage artists Matt Ernst and Morgan Hughes, and photographers Jocelyne Alloucherie, Dennis O'Kain, Romaine Orthwein, Susanne Ramsenthaler, and Eric Tomberlin.
