Susanne Ramsenthaler Donates Artwork for Two by Two for AIDS and Art
Susanne Ramsenthaler, whose new series Interference will be on exhibition in our New York City gallery this fall, has donated a photograph from her Hybrids series to the annual Two by Two auction. Since its inception, Two by Two for AIDS and Art has raised over $21 million jointly benefiting amfAR and the Dallas Museum of Art. amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, is one of the world's leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of sound AIDS-related public policy. Since 1985, amfAR has invested nearly $275 million in its programs and has awarded grants to over 2,200 research teams worldwide. The Dallas Museum of Art houses one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of art in the South and Southwest, with important modern and contemporary collections.
The auction will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009, in Dallas, Texas.
